I once considered entering...Wow, I loved this post. I once considered entering full-time traditional ministry and, as a woman, faced a lot of opposition from respected and otherwise scripturally-sound sources (male and female). This opposition led me to feel I had to choose between what I read in Scripture or the ethical standards I believed to be implicit in God's word. You really hit home on this--it's about the entire contextual message of God's word, not our interpretations of specific passages(upon which we so often base our divisions). I appreciate your thoughts on this subject as it really seems to resonate with the whole of scripture.
