What is a Christian in my world?
Where holy wars are fought with unholy hands,
Where contending for consumerism is disguised as fighting for freedom,
Where prayers for post mortem paradise overshadow pursuit of peace and prosperity here and now,
Where love making is rarely love giving,
Where judicial decisions destroy the desperate and political parties deceive the destitute,
Where the Church itself and corporations contend for artificial affluence.

Can I be one?
