Prayer for truth

LORD may your truth be revealed despite the lenses we through which we try to see it. May it weave its way through our ideas, our disputations and our actions toward our hearts. Your word is not voices from a pulpit, letters on a page, or even a man on a cross. Your word is the movement within all things that guides us to the Garden of Your splendor and to communion with Your Son. May we never place our trust in the letter rather may our hearts be devoted to the guiding of Your Spirit. In the name of the unseen yet immanent God revealed in Jesus Christ, Amen.
